How to Send a Quote as a PDF to a Client
Once you’ve generated and edited your quote in Google Slides, the final step is to send it to your client. We recommend sending your quote as a PDF so it looks professional and can’t be accidentally edited.
Sending a Quote as a PDF on PC
Step 1: Export as PDF
- Open your quote in Google Slides.
- Click File → Download → PDF Document (.pdf).
- The PDF will be saved to your computer (usually in your Downloads folder).
Step 2: Attach to an Email
- Open your email programme (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo).
- Start a new message.
- Attach the PDF file (look for a paperclip or “Attach file” button).
- Write your client’s message and send.
💡 Tip: Use a clear subject line like “Your Holiday Quote – Travelator” so your client recognises it instantly.
Sending a Quote as a PDF on Mobile
Step 1: Export as PDF
- Open your quote in the Google Slides app.
- Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Share & export → Send a copy → PDF Document (.pdf).
Step 2: Send via Email or Messaging App
- After exporting, your phone will ask which app you want to send it with.
- Choose your email app (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) or a messaging app (e.g., WhatsApp, Messenger).
- Enter your client’s details and send.
💡 Tip: Always use email as the main method — messaging apps are fine for quick follow-ups but email is more professional.
Final Reminder
Every quote generated by Travelator must be reviewed and personalised before sending. Sending as a PDF keeps your presentation looking polished and consistent on any device.
